Cross Country Roundup Cross-country has become a respected sport at Eastern in the past two years. The squad, under Coach Dave Brown, compiled a 2-2 mark in dual meets, defeating Philadelphia Textile and Trenton State. While at- tending Morrison Academy in Free China, he was elected captain of his team. He set a scoring record of 1,000 points. He played basketball for three years while in high school, and while there set a rebounding record of 297 for one season.
