Jean Whittaker Kappa Mu Chi this year ranked as the second largest women,s liter- ary society on campus, with a membership of fifty girls. The societyis year began with a new trend toward a more integral faculty-student relationship in the form of a successful afternoon tea. During rush- Week, Kappa adepted an oriental theme which was effectively pre- sented by the girls in their exotic displays and by their attractive costumes. This theme was developed further in their Homecoming float of a colorful J apanese garden. Under President Bea Franseen, these activities as well as a Student Talent Night, Pixie-Angel Week, and visits to Longwood Garden and Winterthur helped to provide itfellowship with Christ?
