JESSIE CANRIGHT Secretary As a person grows, he must rethink his goals and ambitions in terms of his new knowledge, skills, and interests. This is also true of institutions. One can certainly say that Eastern has grown since coming to our present campus. This year has been one of appraisal of past growth and of an attempt to rethink Our goals anl ambitions in terms of that growth. Already there are many new challenges that come into focur -new majors in certain academic fields, new standards for classroom performance, new faculty members in areas where demands for additional help are evident, new commitmer ts by faculty and students to the ideals of learning and fellowship within the foundatitns and framework of the Christian faith. As these concerns come into sharper focus, we can be more specific about the responsibilities that administrators, faculty, and students will have in realizing them, but at this point we all stand challenged by a common vision that calls us to ilcome up higher. The commitment of Eastern to educate young people who may take llThe Whole Gospel to the Whole World gives us a dynamic to keep pace with a Changing world with changing needs. CYRIL D.
