Cole is the pastor of the Covenant Baptist Church of Detroit, Michigan. He has been much in demand as a speaker, addressing meris groups, convention sessions, and study groups. Dr. Cole recently completed his term of presidency of the American Baptist Convention for the year 1961- 62. Dr. Colets messages emphasized the place of the Christian young person in the world of today and tomorrow. His warm personality and gentle humor gave his message depth and meaning. The administration, during the formative years of the school, realized that in the life of each Christian there is a need for times of spiritual re- freshment and renewal. At the beginning of the sec- ond semester a single week is set aside for the pur- pose of self-exarnination and a deepening dedication of life and talents to Christ.
