sf ,212 '- 'W - -'fn N, +- The 1965-1966 Silver Pack is dedicated in memory of the late Dean of Students, Dr. Gary R. Anderson, known to friends as Bish. Dr. Anderson, 32, was killed in an automobile accident, December 9, 1965, near San Patricio, New Mexico, while enroute to Ruidoso to participate in a Student Leaders' Retreat. He is buried in the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity section of the Evanston Memorial Cemetery, Evanston, Illinois. Dr. Anderson was born May 19, 1933, in Superior, VVisconsin. He came to Eastern in 1963, from Arizona State University, where he was Dean of Men. He worked closely with the .men,s fraternities at Eastern, and he helped to engender more interest in fraternity activities. A memorial fund has been established in his honor, and a scholarship will be awarded to a junior or senior on the basis of leadership, character and scholar- ship. Selection of the recipient of the scholarship will be by a Scholarship Committee. s x 3 JW? 3 Z ? Z
