'Ii Pape Life often seems as an endless voyage, Sailing on seas of tranquility and turbu- lence. Searching, ever searching for a safe, secure harbor. And I 've often thought that I 'd found that sweet place of contentment and I thought that forever I 'd remain in that inlet free from the struggles and tremors of life. But the longer I stayed the Iesssweet it grew and I longed for the spray of the sea. The waters became too shallow for my yearning heart, too stag- nant with the stench of familiarity. My soul yearned to wander to places un- known, my eyes, to feast on the sites of the world. My mind yearned to feed on the essence of life, and my spirit longed so to be free. So I sailed anew to those places unknown seeking beauty, adventure, and love. And I'1l stop now and then in a safe sheltered bay to reflect on the treasures I've known.
