The Easterner includes some- thing for everyone - sports, news events, crossword puzzles, literary works, and quotes. Mrs. Clark, with the aid of Miss Montgomery and Mrs. Cook, supervises and manages 'the newspaper. The student co-editors are l Cindy Rylander and Jim Richardson, and the managers are Vicki l Merry and Barbara White. Recently, at the Columbia Scholastic Press Association Convention, our newspaper was awarded third prize' for being an outstanding example of a junior high schoool newspaper.
