Does not the spiritual ministry to immor- tal souls just as well call for specializing and advanced study? Should not the church be preparing skilled spiritual physicians? In writ- (18) ing to the young pastor, Timothy, Paul senses the exacting demands that will be made of the spiritual leaders. He says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed... .” It is out of the increasing needs of our church for such workmen that our graduate department will continue to expand in the future. —Laban Peachey
