Leroy Kauffman Business Responding to the growing demand for trained people in the field of busi- ness and the desire of students to integrate this training with Christian ideals and standards, the number of students selecting business as a major area increased by 28% this year, to reach an all-time high of 129 students. Growth brings with it the need for change; and 1980 saw the continuing investment of resources into the planning and implementing of an upgraded business program; one designed to handle the much larger number of stu- dents. Part of the process involved was obtaining the services of J. Robert Ramer, as chairman of the department, to coordinate this planning. At the forefront of our planning is our goal to structure our learning to porvide integration of the spiritual values, theoretical ideals and practical applica- tion that are so badly needed in the business world today. — N.
