I2 Bonfire Sparks Desire to Win At the conclusion of each pep rally students and faculty join in an unbroken chain as a tradition of loyalty to the team. Bob Keener gives the team's pledge to ' bring back another victory for Eastern Hills. Atop boxes and wood, burns the dummy made for the season's only bonfire, Unfortunately, the Steers had different ideas and handed the Highlanders a 56-15 loss.

Art Club's members had an oriental New Year's party. btu dents are eating rice with chopsticks from bowls made in art class. The group are at Mrs. Meisner's home. Gene Cartwright, Bill Winkler, and Chuck Wellington are taking advantage of dinner for the football team Friday, October 26, 1962. Y-Teens were in charge of cooking the meal, and a representative from each club gave help. Twenty-two students attended the Press Club dinner sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Priddy at Vance Godbey's December 5.
