Students arrived at school at 8:00 a.m., Friday, September 14, to wish the team good luck. Booster Club Sponsors Ysleia Game Broadcast Juarez, here we come! The first game of the season was played and won, with the reward being a coaches' chaperoned trip into Mexico. We just made a touchdown! These jubilant students are listening to the play by play broadcast of the Ysleta game. Not quite so happy, the Highlanders fumbled on their 30 yard line on the third try for a touchdown.

Art Club's members had an oriental New Year's party. btu dents are eating rice with chopsticks from bowls made in art class. The group are at Mrs. Meisner's home. Gene Cartwright, Bill Winkler, and Chuck Wellington are taking advantage of dinner for the football team Friday, October 26, 1962. Y-Teens were in charge of cooking the meal, and a representative from each club gave help. Twenty-two students attended the Press Club dinner sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Priddy at Vance Godbey's December 5.
