However, with the first day of registration new friends are made and special activities get under Way rather quickly. In order to acquaint sophomores with upperclassmen, a Howdy Dance is sponsored by Y-Teens. Soon after the year begins, members of the Clan and Tartan staffs kick off the subscription drive for their publications.
