PREPAREDNESS-FOR LIFE ENl.lSTlNG for three years in the ranks of Eastern High School, over two thousand students yearly train for successful, interesting, and happy lives. To be successful, one must have the skills and training, the knowledge and judgment that will fit one for the work or career he will later enter. These we have learned and increased through our studies. To find life interesting, one must not only be educated but able to contribute to society, and this attitude we have been able to develop through membership in one of the many activity or service groups within the school. Finally, to be happy, one must be socially well adjusted. No better training for this can have been acquired than through participation in Eastern's numerous clubs. A well-rounded per- sonality-a well developed life-these have been and will remain our goals. is fE X lv RN as Ns N x -S '1. 'W lllltl .msn Q-was K.,..- L. ,is ,ss

Those students who have taken advantage of this opportunity have truly performed a service to their country as well as to themselves.
