We are glad to see so many of our old members back again, and doubly so to see the great number of new members. We hope that the new teachers and students will soon feel as much at home here as We do. We are like one big family, and are al- ways glad to see it enlarge. This year, on account of the financial handi- cap under which the paper is striving, we must have more subscriptions. In order to do this we must have more and better material turned in. Let us all, therefore, get to work and put a little time towards helping the literary end of the paper. The following letter needs no com- ment: To the Editor of Tum EASTERNER: Washington, D.
