This is the sixth year for Eastern's Dance Band. Under the su- pervision of Mr. Powell, this instrumental group has played on var- ious occasions throughout the school year. For the second year, the Eastern High School Band has had the pleasure of being under the direction of Mr. Richard Powell. With its 72 members, the band thus far has participated in several pa- rades, has played at a football game at Gettysburg College, and has had part in the best Christmas program Eastern has ever pre- sented. The Concert Band along with the maiorettes and the Band Front makes up the Marching Band. This year Eastern is proud to have 8 members participating in District Band. 104 Mr. Powell
