Backing up this competent quintet were oe Crumling, Barry Stermer, Bill Smeltzer, and ohn Heiser. Under the Fine coaching of Ken Stoner the Knights won all six exhibition games, losing only to Red Lion in the Holiday Tournament at Spring Grove. The team was so well-balanced that any member was ca- pable of being high scorer. Coach Stoner's rigorous training and conditioning of the boys and the effort and enthusiasm of the boys themselves has paid off. The Junior Varsity, under new coach Bill Sheetz posted a record of five wins and one loss in the exhibition games. The team provided excitement in winning sev- eral close games.
