We the class of l98l do hereby affection- ately and sincerely dedicate the l98l East- ern Echo to Mr. Daniel Pierce and Mr. Elzee Gladden. Mr. Pierce, we thank you for the many things you have done for us, as a teacher and also as our friend. We thank you for understanding us not only as students but as human beings. As time goes on, we wish you the happiest years of your life. We thank you for the concern and knowledge that you shared and your determination to bring out the very best in us, both personal- ly and intellectually. We thank you and we express our sincere gratitude. Mr. Gladden, we the class of l98I, thank you for your fine leadership during our first two years at Eastern.
