Winter has settled in, spring is, indeed, far behind as students return to face quarterly tests, term papers, and semester's end. The emphasis is now on work. Seniors restlessly watch the mail al- though it will be months before the last word on college acceptances will be in. The days drag. Will there be a snow day? Happy thought! Looking for breaks in the monotony, publications workers plan their trip to Columbia, iuniors get their rings, and sophomores-complete now with officers, banner, motto, and song-re- hearse their play. Basketball replaces speedball as a team sport. But the days drag.
