Department Eastern's Mathematics Department, headed by Miss Margaret Menton, provides courses for girls of varying interests and abilities. Arithmetic through calculus is taught. Accuracy and logical reasoning are stressed in all classroom periods. Of no less im- portance is the teaching of the ideals of sportsmanship.
