Girls have a choice of tour languages: Latin, German, Spanish, and French. The Latin stu- dents strive for a different aim than those studying modern foreign languages. Empha- sis is placed on the great works of poets and the Ancient Roman Civilization. For those studying modern languages, the stress is placed on understanding, speaking, reading, and writing. The language lab, to which new tapes are constantly being added, is at the disposal of students and their teachers. Included in the tape collection are modern and ancient plays and poetry, which help the students gain an extensive knowledge of a specific language. K d gM G e M Hat MssR bb Se ted MssCar yandMssJ
