M131 ii, 5 F i 2 mc 0085 HJ1 Mrs. John, Mrs. Masson, Mrs. 'Codd, and Mr. Eyth. Music Department I am not waving to you, I am giving you your note. One, two, three, sing! is the familiar signal to which Eastern girls in music groups respond. Appreciation of good music, both vocal and in- strumental, is part of the many-sided instructional program undertaken by Mrs. Masson and her staff. Enthusiasm for music shows itself in the assembly programs and in the popularity of spe- cial concerts. Besides the general course for all students, the music maior course and the music curriculum program afford to students with special musical interests more extensive training and study. These groups are evidence of the success of the staff in developing musical talent.
