Business Education Department Commerce, industry, government, the pro- fessions - all depend for office personnel upon the graduates of business education courses. To meet the need, Eastern's Business Education De- partment, under the leadership of Mr. Maurice Schreiber, trains students as stenographers, ty- pists, machine operators, and secretaries. The school's strong commercial program combines Eastern's well-known, high standards with the teaching of modern business practices. Basic aca- demic fundamentals, as well as technical skills, are stressed in preparation for the demanding but rewarding world of business. Typing students work to attain speed and accuracy!
