Uur Adviser Dear Friends of 1960, As honorary member of your class, l become, with you, an alumna of Eastern. This will not mean for any of us the end of high school or of learning. lt will only mean a change of scene and different subiect matter or different direc- tions for mental exploration. You cannot, as you leave Eastern, know what you will become as an adult person or how or with whom you should spend the rest of your life. You all have the amazing, tragic, beautiful, and unpredictable world to explore and myriads of acquaintances to make before you can be sure. l see only one certainty for you: many of the ties that bind Eastern girls of all years will acquire meaning for you only at some much later date.
