Nt E5 MQ For the first time in the history o astern high school a pep band was or ganiaed which played at pep meetings at basket ball games played on the home floor and district tournament games. The pep band gavea.special opportunity for wind instrument players to develop technique, to gain experience in carry- ing solo parts and to gain experience in band as well as orchestra. Leroy Duke, who is instructor of music in Eastern high school, was director.
