S The Drama Society The Harry Hope Theatre really became a theatre this year when it got itself painted black. It no longer looks like a gym with a stage in it, but a working, if small, off- Broadway theatre. The year got off to a rousing start with a large cast performing an original entertainment called A Forrogo in Timeg original because it was created by the cast and director working with no script whatsoever. Farrago was followed by Neil Simon's comedy smash, Plozo Suite, a show which taxed the resources of cast and crew alike. Lillo's 18th Century soap opera, The London Merchant was the first show of the second semester with still more surprises to follow. The Society had a productive year helped by an influx of fine new talent and it continues to feel that its basic purpose is to train actors, writers, directors and technical people how to do theatre in an efficient and professional manner.
