There Was 16 members to the Board of Trustees, 14 of which are appointed by the governor of the State of Connecticut and 2 student members as a result of an amendment made by the General Assembly. As the present system Works now, the Board or a Board Committee discusses the budgetary proposals, changes in instructional programs, and policy making decisions in a public setting except in the few situations which require executive sessions. Larry Marquis, a senior, is the first student ever to be elected to the Board of Trustees for the Connecticut State Colleges. He is presently a member of the Budget Committee. 6391, . .6 1. f , A 1 L 4 Q! . in i , QC A 1 ff' J 6 'li ' N 5:3 Jw .M ' B 3'fW'f wg-1 1 2 4 '5' 1 : ,gf 'T' 53,3 A. .-5+-Q 1 ' f 2 Q iv w' 6 A Dwi Gd fi? 7 PM f.-.
