We decided that we would like to learn more about the everyday life and customs of the Romans. In our club we would have more opportunity to do some of the things we would not have time to do in class. We went to New York to the art museums and cathedrals in which we saw and studied more carefully Roman art and architecture. We had at our regular meetings discussions of Roman customs styles in dress and games. The Latin Club consists of students who are in the Latin classes now and who wish to learn more about Latin and the Romans. We are under the sponsorship of Miss Van Voorhis who teaches Latin here at E. A. We are thankful to her for so generously giving her time for the Latin Club.
