Chorus assemble in the study hall for another rehearsal under the capable direction of Mr. De Vries, with the talented Ruth Schermer at the piano. The chorus has given a considerable number of performances this year. As in previous years, we sang at the Fall Festi- val and gave a Christmas Cantata in the Second Christian Reformed Church. We also participated in two of the programs sponsored by the American Home Bible League and the Eastern Reformed Sunday School League, which were held in Public School No. 12 and the Christian Reformed Church of Englewood respectively. We also had the opportunity to partici- pate, as a group, at Christmastime, in Quackenbush's Store. The chorus was also pleased to take part in the regular assembly programs of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter at school: the Sun- rise Service in Eastside Park: our programs in the Christian Reformed Church of Mon- sey: and for the Fiftieth Anniversary of Prospect Park. Our final rendition for this season was given at our graduation pro- gram. As a group, we wish to express our sincere appreciation to Mr. De Vries for his untiring efforts and leadership in build- ing up the chorus from year to year.
