Beversluis. Our main accomplishment this year was sponsoring student assemblies. The purpose was to help the students develop their talents and experience speaking be- fore others. Working with the faculty as- sembly committee, excellent programs were presented weekly. Included in our schedule also were: drives for worthy causes, completion of a Student Guidebook and outside activities for the student body. We wish to express our appreciation to Rev. Beversluis for his patience and guid- ance throughout the year. f Chess Club , The Chess Club was organized to make ' more familiar the difficult plays and tech- niques of Chess playing. I Mr. Van Tielen, the sponsor, is well experienced in the game, and is always trying to improve the c1ub's playing.
