The Seniors sponsored the tirst Victory Dance on Thanksgiving night. All rivalry was forgotten as Tuckahoe and Eastches- ter danced. Blue Gardens, Armonk, New York. The scene of our annual Football Banquet, a very memorable event. Columbia University Symphony Band Concert. 250 students visited New York and the Metropolitan Opera House to witness 'iFaust . The Glee Club started to rise to tame as they went Holly- wood in Hollywood Extra under the direction ot Mr. Grasso, Miss Murphy and Miss Chisholm. Easter and Washington-two names which will never be tor- gotten by those Seniors. This trip remains the dearest of all Senior memories. Mr. Grasso led his Glee Club to the tune of First Place in the County Musical Festival-On to Poughkeepsie!! A cool southern breeze brought us to the Iunior Prom-one of the best yet - - - To Poughkeepsie it was! Again Mr. Grasso and his one hundred and fifty students came back with high awards. Skipper Matteau set his course for his crew of ninety-seven on Class Night. A big success and a joyous occasion. One hundred and thirty Glee Club members went to the State Capital to Win second place honors in the Eastern Coast Di- vision of twelve states. Seniors sponsored the Senior Prom, a nautical theme blended with the smooth rhythm ot Bibee Iames and his orchestra- another retrospective occasion lor our Seniors. Iunior High Commencement. Senior High Commencement. And so ends another year of fun, laughter and entertain- ment-a year not to be forgotten by the Seniors of 1940 and one for the undergraduates to remember throughout the rest ot their years.
