PHUPHECU 'Double, double, toil and trouble Fire burn and cauldron bubble'--------As I gaze into the simmering brew before me, I see the year l96O,and some of the most prominent personalities of the year. In the scientific field Fleafbrainj Walker is the toast of the nation. He has revolutionized driving with his invention on an automatic steering-wheel,controlled by radar. June Schafer and Bill Kenny have progressed quite a bit since they used to hold hands in Mr. For- quer's study halls. Mr. and Mrs. Kenny are busy raising their own football team. All-American pro Frank Mozina has already signed up to coach the 'little demons'. Nancy Emery is planning to retire after teaching in one of the prominent Eastern Schools. She has been instructing a course entitled 'Bringing Up Your Child' and she and coach Mozina have de- cided to raise a few of their own. The notorious actor, James fGravel Throatl Seybert is a mainstay of the radio network. He has taken over F. E. Boone's role on the 'Hit Parade'. Lucioua Lolo Braden and her 'Sexy Six' have ta- ken Frank Sinatra's place. The microphones are disconnected for the show, but ah................. Te1evision!!!!! Playboy Wray Zelt has gone far since his high school days. After appearing on Broadway for several years he has retired from the stage, and he and Paul Slater are touring the country selling their own specially designed combination reversable hats, guaranteed to be adaptable to any occa- sion. Roy White, voted most ingenious transportation wheel of the year, has introduced a new type of moving and transporting companyg in fact, the only one in existence so far. His squadron of ultra- modern planes is employed in the transporting of beauty contestants to and from contests. 'Big Roo' is having no trouble getting pilots, and his number one man, Chuck Scott, has had so many hours in the air that he has changed his mailing address to 'Plane Q7, White Service Squadron'. Cathy Wren- shall is hostess and companion for the passengers-but she spends more time in the cockpit------ after all, it gets mighty lonesome up there!! Piano virtuoso Jane Anne Fetherlin has just returned from a nationwide concert tour. After each performance the familiar cream Dodge roars up to the stage door and takes her away for a little relaxation! The well-known authoress, Francis Kobilic, a second Kathleen Windsor, is driving the public mad. She has written several flaming novelsfthis paper isn't fireproof so I can't tell you the titlesl.. in shorthand!! No-one is absolutely sure how she got this ingenious method to keep people baffled, but it's possible that the idea came to her while she was writing 'I will bring my bandage to health class' 500 times for Mrs. 550126. They also have a small printing establishment on the side, which keeps the Latin students well supplied with ponies. Rita has done it again!! It seems that he wasn't particularly pleased when he found that Rita kept her pet 1800 pound heifer in the next room. Ah......What's this?????? Why it's Katherine DeVore and Doris Miller, co-owners of the most pros peroue book shop in washington. Sara Jane Litle and Mary Lou Cooper have made Columbus turn over in his grave, and have made the Reporter nationally known. It carried the first article on their history-making trip around the world. They are the first human-beings to walk all the way, and Miss Cooper said that the water. wings they got at the Jay Book Store certainly came in handy crossing the Pacific. LeonaCCover Girll Souder has given up fame and fortune after modeling for Howie's Exclusive Scientific Esquire Publications' and has settled at last with her one-andonly..........what's this??????? Oh, no, not again!!! Yes it's the call of the wild....the wild male, that is! Frank Henry is now coaching the Pittsburgh Steelers, and this year, as usual, he has had an un- defeated, untied, and unscored-upon season. Coach Henry'attributes his miraculous success to Ralph Forquer's 'Win-'emaall' slogan. Betty Muller is a successor to Joie Chitwood, and she has the nation all agog with her sensa- tional new act. I won't go into detail, because 'Reckless Liz' and her 'Hell Drivers' will be mak- ing their first appearance in Washington soon, so keep an eye on the local papers!! DonaldKFlip the Gipl Porter is the owner of the most noted milk-dispensing establishment in the Tri-State area, 'Honest Don's Dairy'. Donald has also been busy after hours delving into every known Physics book in preparation for a debate with that renown orator, instructor, AND magazine editor Howard F. Jack.......Place your bets here, folks!! M gaze is becoming cloudy....but wait...here's something.
