I remember Qand it wasn't so long ago, when a girl was strictly a drip if her skirt was not above her knees and if her sweater was not large enough to fit her father. Now the skirts are getting longer day by day and the sweaters are bought to fit the wearer. Such is life! Here is the annual fashion review as we have lived it the past few years. In '45, the well-dressed girl wore a baggy sweater and a very short pleated skirt. For a change, she could wear her brother's white shirt fthe one he was going to Wear for that big Saturday night datej and a dungaree. In '46, she went in for bangs. She cut her own hair and what a mess., In '47 the skirts became longer and lighter. Finally, by and during '48, the ballerina skirt, cute ruffled petticoats, and Gibson girl blouses made the new lookn. Oh, Yes! This is the modern age., Goodbye and good luck.
