Above is a classroom scene when he was selected to represent the typical faculty member in an al1-col- lege brochure. Left is a typical class- room shot while, right, he bides his time in the Western Week stockade. William Weldon Taylor The Locust is proud to dedicate this issue to two of the campus' most valuable faculty members. Weldon Tay- lor, instructor in mathematics, is a rare combination of academician and favor- ite of the student body. He is the first to be dunked on Western Week, and the one students call on to make stew for various campus picnics, he is ex- tremely interested in campus life, ath- letics and the welfare of each student in his classes. Taylor likes to be known as the father of Elizabeth Taylor and carries the deception as far as his gullible stu- dents will permit before he admits she is not the movie star, but a campus freshman. With this issue, the Locust salutes Weldon Taylor. ff-'x X. t W mil E: h . 1 N X an ct, . , 2 xx Quilt 1: ', 5, X- 'l x'X.'S:xz1Nx X - s' ' :HW N 'Q ., ' Yi'-X-g r X sxsaf We N nj A X Xt TX?
