Those who were not wearing at least three articles of Western clothing were arrested, tried, and punished by being thrown in the watering trough. One of the great occasions during these three days was the judging of the Western Week Queen. This contest was held in the Student Union Building ballroom before three judges and over half of the student body. Ulf Nancy Johns, Western Week Queen nominee, walks for the judges.
