All off for Marshall, cried the porter on a north bound train. l y l, Tom Standifer's heart came up into his throat, for it was his first time to set out for college ' and he did not know just what he would do when he arrived. But when he had pulled his l l baggage together and stepped from the train, he found that some of the old students from i C. O. MAIN VIEW COLLEGE or MARSHALL , 4 1 Tom, in company with his new found friends, was soon at the foot of the hill upon which the College stands, and as he gazed up at that magnificent administration building 1- he caught his first thrill of College life. The first place to which he was conducted was the President's office.
