We can trace it through the seasons as the earth moves from the fresh beginnings of spring to the cold dormant state that is winter. Our surroundings also undergo many transformations. Old build- ings are torn down, new ones are put up, and improvements are constantly being made. The people we know change too. They age physically, but they also develop their talents and discover their weaknesses and their strengths. If we're lucky, we'll find these signs of growth in ourselves. The time we spend in college is a time set aside for such personal growth. We have the chance to gain new knowledge through reading and attending classes, to expand our interests by getting involved in campus organizations, and to form lasting friendships with the people we meet. The process is one of sharing, our opinions, our time, and our dreams, and hope- fully as we grow closer to others, we'll learn more and more about ourselves.
