DORIVI LIFE Living in a dorm is an education in itself. Freshmen year we arrive laden with be- longings, parental advice, and trepida- tion. Everything seems strange, all the other kids on the floor know each other, and the cafeteria food is awful. But we quickly adapt. Within a few weeks we make friends, learn to cope with midnight fire drills, and find alterna- tive eating places, like Matty's, McDon- alds, and Burger King. By the time senior year rolls around, for those of us who've stuck it out the dorm is home. lt's the place where we've done a lot of growing and shared a lot of good times. Now we Te the ones telling Remember the time we . . stories to credulous underclassmen. And the night before graduation, when we're packing up the things we've ac- cumulated over four years lprior to hitting Rudy'sl we're more than a little surprised to discover how hard it's going to be to say good-by.
