MR. W. W. DOWNING Principal MR. ROBERT OPPERMAN Assistant Principal T0 THE GRADUATES The graduates of nineteen sixty-two are leaving school at a time when the world presents confusion and problems which baflle and depress many of the adults who think seriously of such things. It is my sincere hope that these boys and girls have had help in learn- ing to think straight and put First things first during their years in school. Not all of us are destined to lead nations, write great books, pioneer in space research, or gain fame and wealth, but great individual satisfaction may be translated into personal success when we accomplish everything possible in whatever line of endeavor we have chosen for our life mission. So whether or not we ever read of these young peo- ple in headline exploits, it will be comforting to know that wherever they are and whatever they do, they're gaining happiness through success in worthwhile ac- tivities.
