Projector Operators' Club The Projector Operators' Club is composed of nineteen East St. Louis Senior High School boys, Their business is to operate the motion picture machine in the different classrooms as Well as at various times in the audi- torium sessions in connection with the increased use of visual education that has been introduced into our courses. Mr. I. W. Galbreath is the sponsor of the club, and Robert Richardson is Chief Operator. Assistant Chief Operators are Donald Campbell and Iohn Luden. Page Twenty-nine

Girls' Athletic Association The oldest organization at the East St. Louis Senior High School, the Girls' Athletic Association, was organized in 1903. The G.A.A., as it is usually called, is sponsored by Miss Leona Menestrina. It is represented in the picture above by its officers, its graduating senior members, and its sponsor. This club gives girls an opportunity to participate in intra-mural sports events such as basketball and volleyball tournaments, as Well as tennis and table tennis matches. It also sponsors the Rhythm, Stunt, and Archery Clubs. The goals of the GAA. are to develop the qualities of good sportsmanship and to promote interest in athletics. Mary Catherine Borders is president of the organization. Other officers are Lorraine Bixhorn, vice-president, and Floy Blackwell, secretary-treasurer. Page Twenty-eight

Aviation Club The Aviation Club, under the sponsorship of Miss Verna Spitzer, has the honor of being the most recently organized club in the East St. Louis Senior High School. The sixteen members ot the club meet every Monday and Wednesday after school. Their activities include model building and discussions on subjects con- cerning aviation. Both indoor and outdoor model contests have been held by the organization. The officers of the club are Leonard Holt, president, Edward Connor, vice- presidentg Donald Hudgins, secretary, and William Elmore, treasurer. Page Thirty
