What actually makes ‘86 sparkle like a diamond? The answer to that question is clearly the student body. East Siders are always striving for the top with many hours of hard work and dedication with the hope of attaining that special goal. That is what the class of '86 is about, striving to attain goals, and by doing so adding a bit of sparkle to our surroundings. That spark was ignited 75 years ago. and although times have changed, the basic beliefs and principles for a chance to acquire an education still stand as they did then. It is hard to believe that East Side has weathered so many storms for the past seven and a half decades. We were able to overcome many difficulties and challenges, so that four years later, we are the graduates of 86. East Side will always hold a special place in our memories as we continue to pursue our goals and careers. We surely will come to realize, with special thanks, those teachers who pushed us that extra mile.” and we will have special thoughts for those who believed in us and helped us develop our unique and sparkling personalities. A very important part of our lives has been spent at East Side and we value the time and opportunity.
