Some of us knew where wc were going when wc were Freshmeng some of us are yet uncertain. But of one thing we are confident - this way that we've come here at East Rutherford High School has been beneficial in that it has opened our eyes to new ambitions and direction. During that period he has found time to serve in a civic manner as well bv beinff a member of the Board of Education for seven years. , o ' Born in Italy, he was brought to East Rutherford at the age of five. llis early education was received in the local St. joseplfs grade school, from which he entered our high school and was graduated in the Class of 19:23. YVhile in high school he was active in student activity organizations and played four years of varsity football. ln preparation for his profession he attended sevaral universities, among them being St. jolm's of New York, Loyola School of Medicine, Chicago, and post- graduate work at Columbia and New York Universities. Although residing outside of our town at the present, he has always maintained his medical oflice in East Rutherford. Starting out as a general practitioner he entered the field of surgery and is now considered outstanding in both endeavors. Andy,,' as he is affectionately known, is a member of several civic and service organizations. Ile is always willing to con- tribute of his time and substance to civic movements which will improve The Cardeno Spotf' Ile is married to the former C. lane Becton, also a popular alumna of our high school and a graduate of XYellesley College.
