Q5 Eaafuf 8 I 1 do wonder what can have happened to me! ivhen I used to read fairy tales. I fancied that kind of thing never happened and now here l am in the middle of one, so said Alice and so l'elt the mem- hers of the hoard of education and their guests. as they entered the school lihrary and were entranced hy the heautiful decorations fashioned to the theme of Alice in Wonderland created hy the art cluh under the direction of Wir. Harry Commoll. This animal event is given to express the spirit of co-operation hetween the receiving hoard of East Rutherford and the sending hoards of Carl- stadt and Wallington. Many local and stale officials were guests at the hanquet. Among them were: Wlayor Brett of East Rutherford. Mr. N. Zimmer- mann. County School Superintendent. and Ylr. lf. Kilpatrick. Il, inspector of School Accounts. lt was the hest hutterf' the March Hare said. lt was the hest everything. The dinner was de- licious and there was enough for all. Roast Mary- land turkey with all the trimmings was served. The meal was well prepared hy Miss Helen Bartle and memhers of her cooking Classes. The Glee Cluh. supervised hy Mr. Daniel Soh- chock, provided some good entertainment. The eve- ning was climaxed hy a community sing enjoyed hy all. lI'U ,af ' .
