Iames Hitchcock, do hereby leave to Iimmy Smith my right to get out of class more than anyone else. Louise Honaker, do hereby leave to Charles Shmukler the wonderful times we had at the Senior Dance and another year as great as '59. lean Iohnston, being mostly just body, do hereby leave to all the Second Avenue crowd, Alice, Io Ann, San- dra, Beth, Suzanne, and Bettye Anne, a handkerchief to cry in when I'm gone. Linda Kay, being of freckled-face, do hereby leave to Leah Williams another year of Phys. Ed. and a box of band-aids. Dan Keever, do leave my worn-out developer to Bill Allee and hope he can use it next year. I also leave my nickname Hubert to anyone Whip pins it on. Laquieda Key, being of diminishing mind and unstable body, do leave all of my nicknames to my sister Wanda. Linda Lam, being of unsound mind and broken body, leave to Quillian Stewart my ability always to chew gum in band practice and never get caught. Iackie Lamb, do hereby leave to Helen Watson, Miss Rollins' chemistry, in hopes that she will be more successful than I have been. George Lanier, leave to the junior class the pride I have in this new school. Iennie Lee, leave to any senior an incurable case of insomnia with my bottle or Curine for those tired eyes. ' Laura Levinson, being of sound mind and body, leave to my sister Martha, my dissected earthworm in biologyg and to Ieanie Morris a whole package of Double Bubble Gum. Mary Ann Manzella, being of humorous mind and frail body, do hereby leave to Mary Curry my collection of oral reports which were always so funny to the class in sixth period English. We, Bobby Mashburn and Lamar Whittenburg, do here- by leave Freddie to anybody lucky enough to have his acquaintance. Larry Meeks, do hereby leave all fame for the new bomb I invented thot water and sugarl to Miss Rollins. Alex Millican, being of sound mind and good spirits, will and bequeath my self-explanatory drawing book to next year's drawing class. Mary Minter, do hereby leave my scholastic ability to jane Braden fespecially in English and historyl. Pat Moss, do hereby leave my tremendous speed to Russell Sweeden, and to the football team I leave Coach Deleski. Carolyn Nelson, possessing none of my faculties, do hereby leave my nickname BOOGER to Carolyn Arnold. Marcella Norris, being of clotty brain and weak body, do hereby leave .... East Rome High. Marie Padgett, being of no mind at all, do hereby bequeath to Lynda, my ability to talk always when I should be listening. Shirley Lee Phillips, being of sound mind and body, do hereby leave my ability to burst drumheads to any- one crazy enough to play them. I, Larry Raiford, do hereby leave to some lucky junior, my seat in mechanical drawing. I, Larry Rickman, leave my ability to get out of football practice to Punchy Camp and Legs Rickman, and to Bubba Vaughan my Kentucky jump shot. I, Billy Rudd, being of fabulous mind and body, do hereby leave my muscle building kit to Sidney Iohnston. We, Iudy Russell, Nancy Newman, and Sherry None- macher, being of nondescript minds and bodies, do hereby leave to Greer Sartin our ability to get down to Y. C. one way or another in the hope that she will use it wisely ..... I, Arnold Shedd, leave my clean football uniform and ability to pass school to Herschel S., and to Buddy S. I leave my ability to play hookey and not get caught!! I, Io Ann Shiflett, being of sound mind, do hereby leave to Benny the ability to graduate. First, to the freshmen, we share a portion of our pride in being a part of this new school. To the sophomore girls, we bestow our ability fby being such lovelies l to infatuate underclassmen!! Also to the unforgotten sophomore poets we leave our favorite song We Win Again. Then, to all girls, we will the competence to uphold the high morals which we and other senior girls set for the new East Home I-sigh.
