In life there is a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to celebrate. This year, we the members of the Class of Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Six, revel in the fact that our senior year coincides with the Fiftieth Anniversary of our school. Since the school's beginning in 1936, pride radiated from the small student body emerging from the shadow of another district. The school, during the past fifty years, came into its own, as each of us has come into our own and established our own uniq identities. Dear Ms. Rubin, The high school experience is filled with trials and tribulations, fond memories and everlasting friendships which are like a rainbow, ending with a pot of gold. For us, you have been that golden treasure at the end of the rainbow. To you our special treasure, we have entrusted our confidences, our aspirations and our dreams. You have been more valuable to us than can be expressed in any way,shape,or form. As it has been said, ”People make mistakes,” and we are no exception. However,with your loving hand, infinite patience, and words of encouragement, all of our problems and mistakes were remedied. You have been more than just an advisor to us. You have been a cultivator of excellence, our golden ray of sunshine, which shone warmly upon our lives to make us unite as one. We would like to dedicate this GOLDEN 1986 ROCK to you, our special friend.
