Once upon a time, there lived a young girl named Dorothy, who was known to all her friends as the Class of 72. One day, little Dorothy was walking home from elementary school. Suddenly, a gust of wind blew in from the north; it was a tornado! Terrified, our little heroine ran for cover, but, alas, it was too late! Swept off her feet, Dorothy became airborne — caught in the whirling, whistling, workings of the w ind. Seconds, or maybe days later, Dorothy fell from the sky and found herself in a place, (you guessed it), “ ... somewhere over the rainbow.” Gazing about in awe, our little Miss '72 realized she was not in elementary school any longer. This must be the place she had always dreamed about — a place where you can’t get into any trouble?! As the sun set, the rainbow-colored sky melted into shades of orange and black, revealing the image of a high school, bearing an uncanny resemblance to the Land of Oz! There beneath her feet lay a yellowbrick road, a path irresistably leading her towards an Emerald City, and just beyond, the magic of graduation. She knew she must follow; the fickle finger of fate had pointed the way for our “Darling Daughter of Destiny!”
