We have been scholars, athletes, artists, craftsmen, and leaders in all fields. In this our yearbook, THE ROCK '55,', we will show how our members have participated in student affairs. Leaving our school means that we will transfer our abilities from the student world we know to the world for which we have been trained. Some of us will pursue the interests that we have developed while at East Rockaway, while others will seek new fields and broader horizons. Many of our boys will go on to serve our country in the Armed Forces. Other classmates will begin higher learning at far-flung colleges and universities. And still others will make their way in the business world. But wherever and whenever the Gods again unite our class, we know that we will have done our best to find our places in this World.
