SCHOOL SCORING RECORD BROKEN This yearis basketball season was an array of many close games. Many times this year the Pioneers won or lost by margins of less than ten points. The defeat of league power, Notre Dame, marked the first of many of this season's high- lights. The Pioneers handed the Hixson Wildcats their only league defeat and downed Ringgold at their homecoming game. Individual honors came when David Eaker, a senior center, broke the school scoring record of forty-four points by tally- ing forty-six points against Soddy Daisy. The season as a whole did not measure up to expectations but the team still made a good showing. 2 All eyes are on Smith as he shoot ALL CITY and ALL H.I.L.
