MARCH-APRIL — Britain’s Prince William of Wales, born on June 21, 1982, broke royal tradition this spring by traveling with his parents, Princess Diana and Prince Charles, on their six-week tour of Australia. MAY — By the date of the ERHS graduation, E.T., the Extra-Terrestrial had grossed over $550 million to become the most profitable movie of all time. Steven Spielberg’s en- chanting fantasy film centers around a 3’4” creature from outerspace who shows up in a Californian suburb to the delight of a boy named Elliott.
