Meeting the S Challenge of the 60's CLASSES Academics, according to Webster's dictionary, has to do with the formal activities of an institution of learning. In other words, academics is algebra, biology, English, homemaking, and any other subiect taught in this school. This is the primary purpose of the East Richland High School . . . to offer the means of learning to its students. After these means have been presented, the student must take' them and use them to the best advantage. This is the process of education.
