Outstanding Seniors Outstanding members of the Class of ’74 were se- lected on the basis of service, leadership, scholarship, talent, and character. Each member of the class made a written nomination of the twenty classmates whom he considered deserved to be recognized as outstand- ing in these areas. The lists were tallied and the top fifty nominees submitted to a sixteen-member faculty committee. The faculty committee, representing the Senior homerooms and the various departments, made the final selection. ies O® Jan Smith
